The Royal Winnipeg Rifles perpetuate four (4) First World War Infantry Battalions, which were disbanded in May-June 1919. The names of these battalions’ men, who died as a consequence of the war, are included in our list of The Fallen.
These are the 8th Canadian (90th Winnipeg Rifles) Battalion, 10th Canadian Battalion, 27th (City of Winnipeg) Battalion and the 44th (Manitoba) Battalion.
